Welcome to ICT at The Friary

In year 7 pupils receive double lessons of ICT each week for half the year.  In years 8 and 9 they receive one lesson per week, although some pupils in year 8 receive an extra lesson.

In year 10 and 11 pupils may follow the AiDA (GCSE equivalent course).  Some pupils are given the opportunity to build on this and do CiDA (2 GCSE equivalent course).

Alternatively, in years 10 and 11 you may have a single period of ICT each week and follow CLaIT or possibly CLaIT Plus.

The choice of course at key stage 4 currently depends on the option pathway that is chosen by the pupil.

At present there are no Alevel courses but we hope to introduce one soon!
