Your choice of key stage 4 ICT course depends upon the option pathway that you follow.

AiDA/CiDA   CLaIT
This is part of the DiDA suite of qualifications.  If you follow this course you will have 3 lessons of ICT each week. AiDA is equivalent to a GCSE. Pupils who do well may be given the opportunity to follow a double GCSE equivalent course or CiDA.

  CLaIT is a widely recognised qualification which is popular amongst adult learners.  If you follow this course you will have a single lesson each week.  There are a number of possible outcomes that a pupil may achieve:
bulletIndividual units
bulletCLaiT certificate (successfully passing 3 tests)
bulletCLaIT diploma (successfully passing 5 tests)
bulletCLaIT PLUS certificate (sucessfully passing 3 of the higher lever, CLaIT Plus tests)

The units we cover tend to be based on word-processing; presentations; publications; spreadsheets and databases
